Dr. Keith Biggs


Dr. Biggs earned his B.S. from the University of North Carolina-Asheville and then completing his Doctorate of Optometry from Nova Southeastern University, where he was distinguished as the top graduating student for excellence in primary care. He then completed externships in primary care, contact lenses, pediatrics, low vision, and vision therapy. Dr. Biggs is Summit Eye Care’s contact lens specialist, specializing in scleral and gas permeable lenses, where he manages and fits specialty contact lenses for patients with Keratoconus, corneal ectasia, and dry eye disease.

Dr. Biggs leads Summit Eye Care’s Dry Eye Center and specializes in treating different types of ocular surface disease. He strives to be at the forefront of new technology when it comes to treating the complex dry eye patient. Using new procedures and techniques, Dr. Biggs is able to more efficiently treat each individual.

Dr. Biggs is an active member of the American Optometric Association and the North Carolina Optometric Society.

Dr. Biggs grew up in Asheville, NC, but has recently moved to Winston-Salem, NC with his wife Brittney, and three children. In his free time, Dr. Biggs enjoys family, traveling, and of course, the North Carolina Tar Heels.
